We strive for balance and structure in every project. We develop a dynamic identity for your business that promotes internal and external energy, and during this process we help build stronger relationships within your team, which promotes interconnectivity.
In support of fundraising initiatives, for Ave Maria University, a campus-wide visual style guide was developed for correspondence materials, direct mail pieces, the Founder’s quarterly magazine, a secondary logomark, and a logo for the university’s sports team (the Ave Maria University Gyrenes).
Utilizing a style inspired by the Wrightian architecture throughout the campus, the visual style guide successfully defined a consistent, effective brand for Ave Maria University.
Developed with Cannon Design, specifically Kevin Opp.
We were a new university without alumni or reputation. We were given creative services, and personal attention, that resulted in print materials that attracted thousands of donors and helped us build a foundation that will carry us well into the future. - Dr. Carole CarpenterNext project
After discussing with the partners of PureGreen how beautiful, yet challenging the southwestern landscape can be, we wanted to create an identity that best illustrates how those challenges are met in the most community-oriented and eco-friendly way.
We developed a simple, yet bold logotype complimented by a palette of vibrant colors and imagery. PureGreen’s approach to landscaping provides quality with the environment in mind.
One of our clients told us that they were having trouble deciding which landscape company they should go with. They chose us because of the professionalism and attention to detail in our marketing materials. It showed them we would treat them with the same care and we did. This proved to be a $120,000 client win for us. - Fernando TorresNext project
Working with the owner, Dennis Bauman, we helped shape an identity that evokes both a well established business and how Amazon continues to grow and evolve with the changing times.
The imagery and colors selected illustrate Amazon’s fresh approach to serving their customers, enhancing their slogan “Service with Integrity.” Amazon takes pride in their environmentally sustainable vending decisions.
Teamwork is at the core of our work with IDP. This small firm made us feel that our project was their top priority, and produced exceptional results. - Dennis BaumanNext project
As Amazon Vending Services continued to grow their business, they needed to build their web presence. They have continued to raise the bar for the vending industry in the Niagara region of western New York. They recognize how important this region is to them and are excited to contribute to the area as a successful, growing business.
Not only do they continue to provide their partners with the most efficient products and services, they provide environmentally sustainable solutions. They are leading the competition with their brand strategy. It has been an exciting journey for us to share this experience with them.Next project
The F.d’Anconia logomark represents Independence Monument, located in Fruita, Colorado. It’s a magical place that sits within Colorado National Monument, on the western slope of the rockies.
F.d’Anconia brownies are only marketed to a specific clientele and easily purchased online for their convenience. They are the ultimate corporate gift or for dear personal friends. Once a bite is taken, the usual inclination is to devour the entire box.
The colors highlight a unique message that is subtle and sleak, speaking the voice of the F. d’Anconia brand. The packaging unfolds simply and clean, to support the quality of the product, and invites them to savour the essence of each bite.Next project

Cannon Design has been developing their mentoring program firmwide for over 25 years. Each year, the month of May is dedicated to mentoring. In 2009, the following campaign was created.
Posters advertised the event firmwide. In each office, there were varied activites and an invitation was hand delivered to each employee for the annual lunchtime event.
In the Grand Island office, the campaign was branded and each department was represented equally with a vibrant color. A color wheel was used to symbolize how each discipline plays an intrical part in the success of the firm. Color coordinated placards were held by team leaders and used to direct participants to their designated departments. There was even a playful belly band wrapped around each of the staff’s paystubs as a reminder prior to the upcoming mentoring event.
It was a huge success. Some of the other Cannon Design offices requested that the same campaign be developed in their office the following year.Next project
The focus for the Mentoring Campaign was on team building and learning from other disciplines— providing sensitivity to the issues of other disciplines, a group mentoring and sensitivity awareness approach.
All participants (about 100) broke out into diverse pre-selected groups (of 10). It gave everyone the opportunity to meet new people, sit in a different location and place themselves in someone else’s shoes; showing that informal mentoring naturally builds connections firmwide.
Placards were held by team leaders and used to direct participants to their designated departments. Following the event, the team leaders utilized these placards both as office signage and an effective reminder of the event’s success.
This was our most well attended and effective mentoring event at Cannon Design. - Kathleen Cartus, Director of Human ResourcesNext project
The Suite Space identity was redeveloped to strengthen the understanding of their brand. We refined their logo to capture the most essential elements; to utilize an architectural, linear approach that provides unity and flow into one’s environement. Through this process the creative coaching aspect of Suite Space has become prominent and is now the focal point of their work. Suite Space inspires while it educates; they teach their clients to look within and utilize what is already a strong part of them and their home or office environment.
Suite Space is now expanding into Europe, first, through writing on their blog and reaching their audience worldwide. The next step will be working with clients in both locations.
The continued goal at Suite Space is to co-create spaces that will transpire more meaning into one’s life and their relationships.
Identity Development Partners delivered a product I am extremely proud of -- it's clean, linear design captures and integrates the most essential elements of the business. The IDP team is thoughtful, smart and insightful. With a good foundation now in place, I look forward to my work with them to expand future marketing options. - Tammy Long, OwnerBack to Top
